Notes on the Rachel Whiteread retrospective at Tate Britain
- Nice space (dividing walls removed).
- Too many pieces.
- Sight-lines too full up of other pieces (see (2) above).
- Difficult to concentrate on individual works therefore.
- Pieces hung on the walls fare better.
- Re (5), is it therefore a novelty painting show?
- Re (6): no. But it's close.
- Nice window pieces (see below).
