Europe at night is a beautiful and often mysterious place, full of atmosphere, history, and stories both told and untold.

In this photo artwork of a bridge over a river running through an Italian village at midnight on a summer night there are deep shadows running across the ancient stones of the bridge. We can't see what - if anything - is casting the shadows, adding to the quiet mystery of the piece.

Using very old and very new photographic techniques I've created an old-looking photograph, with lots of artful scratches and grain, with a very modern and graphic composition.

From my 'Europe At Night' series, this is 'Italy At Night, No. 2'.
